Listen to your Body to Budge Those Last Few Kilos!
Last week we launched forward on our discovery of ‘how do I budge those last few kilos?’
As you would of read last week often my clients say to me 'I just can't seem to budge those last 4 kilos. I'm training a few times a week, I'm eating healthy but those last few kilos just won't go'. I feel their frustration!
Are you feeling frustrated about your results? No matter how hard you train, how often you hit the gym or how healthy your eating is you still just can't budge those last few kilos? You're listening to your PT and putting into practice their advice, so why can't you drop that last bit of weight?
If this sounds like you then do not despair for there are reasons 'Why?' these last few kilos feel like they are stuck like glue. Let's take a look.
Last week we shared the issue of quality of your eating. Remember poor nutrient quality drives you to eat beyond your required calorie amount! As we all know if ‘energy in’ exceeds ‘energy out’ then the ‘energy in’ will be stored as body fat. Which is the very thing you are wanting to lose not gain.
The second issue often causing those last few kilos to stick is the issue of timing of meals, combinations of foods, how frequently you eat, how much water you drink, if you drink alcohol, coffee, soft-drink, energy drinks and take supplements all contribute to whether you remain lean or not. You are what you eat, when you eat, how much you eat and how often you eat. Your body is a mirror of all your eating and food choices. Without exception! If you skip meals and then ‘stock up’ on ‘treats’ late at night then your body will reflect this lack of nourishment and not favour you with a look and feel that is spectacular…
Next week I will share with you my third issue of ‘Why’ those last few kilos just won’t budge and then move you into an ‘action plan’ of success to conquer this problem!
